Publications Founded in 1981, Thistlerose Publications has published six books by William McGaughey on a variety of subjects. The latest book, published in 2003, recounts McGaughey's personal experience as a candidate for U.S. Senate in the 2002 Independence Party primary in Minnesota. It also serves as the author's autobiography. Books are sold through a distributor, Biblio Distributors, and the internet.
